Our client, a long-established manufacturer & supplier of pressed & assembled components to a multitude of industrial sectors is seeking a talented Quality/Process Improvement Engineer to join their Production Engineering team, due to promotion of the current incumbent.

The company has a solid financial footing and has seen significant investment over recent years, reflecting the ambition of the company owners.

Key duties include:-

  • Maintaining the Company Quality System
  • Establishing, Implementing & Maintaining Quality awareness across sites
  • Responsible for Continual Improvement activities to enhance the products and environment
  • First & Last off Inspection
  • Work with Cross Functional teams to Generate Manufacturing Inspection Test Plans
  • Develop and Introduce SOP for Key Products
  • Complete ISIR & PPAP
  • Analyze Root Causes and Implement Corrective actions for Processes or parts that have concerns
  • Continuously Improving Quality Procedures
  • Prepare Regular Improvement reports for the Group Quality Manager

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a Production Engineering environment and in a Quality / Inspection Role
  • Good Knowledge of SPC
  • Good Practical use of measuring equipment and measuring techniques
  • Capable of making independent decisions, whilst being appreciative of other departments
  • Excellent computer skills including Word & Excel
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible and Trustworthy
