Salary - Circa £40k

Shift - 4 on 4 off (days)

Here at Futures, we are delighted to be supporting a leading FMCG Manufacturing company based in the Cumbria area.

Due, to recent growth the business is looking for an established Quality Manager to join the technical team and oversee the day to day running of the Quality Department.

Reporting into the Technical Manager, a Quality Manager will be responsible for managing a team of QA to ensure products are compliant with regulations and manufactured in accordance with the company standards and regulations.

Responsibilities of a Quality Manager:

  • Ensuring Food Safety and hygiene standards are always adhered, and that staff are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Acting as a point of contact for customers and BRC audits
  • Leading and developing and coaching your team.
  • Ensuring all food is produced to the agreed standards and specifications.
  • Maintaining a pro-active system for documentation.
  • Managing a team of 6-7 QA Technicians.

Successful Quality Manager will have:

  • Prior experience of leading a technical or quality team in a FMCG | Food Manufacturing setting
  • HACCP Qualified to a Level 3 or above.
  • Food Safety Qualified to a Level 3 or above.
  • Proactive and highly organised, able to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Great communication and coaching skills.
