Are you an experienced Head of Quality/Quality Manager, with experience in Distillery/Malt?


Are you either located in the North of Scotland or open to relocating?

Reed Food and FMCG have been briefed to recruit for a highly popular business, for a UK & Ireland Quality Manager, to start as soon as possible. The company operate in a niche sector and are open to looking at Senior Quality Professionals, who carry a wealth of knowledge in the Scottish and Irish Whiskey Distilling industry.  

The role will report into the Group Director of Quality and will require travel to meet with Customers/Suppliers, along with different company sites, ensuring the Quality levels are maintained throughout the process.  The role is responsible for continuing their integrity and maintaining the high standards set by the business.

UK & IRE Quality Manager

Negotiable salary, depending on experience. Generous budget.

Location: North East Scotland

Experience required:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior quality role.

- Knowledge of the malting and distilling industry

- Master or Bachelor degree in a technical area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership
  • Implement, maintain and monitor Group Quality processes
  • Travel between sites and customers, to be able to support on Quality complaints or issues
  • Support the business with technical projects and lead production trials
