JOB- Quality Manager 

LOCATION- Southampton

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)               

We are looking for a Quality Manager on a permanent basis in the Southampton area with experience in the Welding Manufacturing Industry. Your main duty will be to Manage the Quality Engineering Team in the day to day running of the ISO ISO9001 Quality Management System as well as compliance to various welding standards.

The Quality Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience.
  • Previous experience as a Quality Engineer or Quality Manager
  • Knowledge of Welding, Oil and Gas, Fabrication or similar manufacturing businesses.
  • Familiar with CE, UKCA, PD or simulator regulator requirements.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to oil and gas industriess would be advantageous but not needed.
 The Quality Manager role will involve:

  • Managing the Quality Engineering team day to day.
  • Ensuring all products meet the required quality standards.
  • Managing the Quality System to ensure compliance.
  • Keep up to date on regulations within industry.
  • Implement new regulatory systems where required.
