Location: South Wales

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

Here at Futures, we are delighted to be working with a well-established FMCG | Food Manufacturing business located in South Wales.

Due to an increase in product demand, and a higher requirement for NPD, the business is looking to grow their technical team by appointing a Quality Manager to join their already established team.

Reporting into the Site Technical Manager, a Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that products and services meet internal and external standards, function effectively and meet the customer's requirements.

Quality Manager Responsibilities:

  • Management of all the quality standards within the specific area.
  • Supervising the production process to ensure all products meet consistent standards.
  • Developing and implementing quality control tests, inspecting products at various stages and writing reports documenting issues.
  • Implementing and executing inspection, testing and evaluation methods to ensure products adhere closely to company standards.
  • Internal and External retailer audits.

Successful Quality Manager will have:

  • Experience working within a chilled, high risk food environment.
  • Previous experience within a Quality | Technical Management function.
  • Experience in leading and coaching a team.
  • Pro-active approach, with a drive for continuous improvements.
  • Working within the Food Industry is essential for this opportunity !!
