An exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to join a thriving business who manufacture and supply high value components & parts to the aerospace & nuclear sectors. The Quality Manager will have overall responsibility of leading the quality function, ensuring conformance of product, compliance with applicable regulatory and customer specific standards and continual improvement of business performance.

Quality Manager
Job Description
  • You will ensure that all industry standards are maintained as required these standards will include:  AS9100, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, NADCAP (NDT), R-R SABRE, R-R GS3001.
  • Manage a robust internal audit schedule is in place and adhered to and ensure all audits are conducted in line with best practices and any non-conformance is closed out within a timely manner.
  • Ensure all external audits are organised effectively and conducted efficiently.
  • Ensure the Quality Management System is kept under continuous review and that all opportunities for improvement are reviewed and implemented where required.
  • Ensure robust quality controls are implemented and followed at all points during the manufacturing process and that they are aligned to our customer’s and regulatory requirements
  • Employ robust quality tools to investigate, correct and prevent non-conformance.
  • Ensure that the business KPI’s are aligned with the Quality Management system


Quality Manager
Essential Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience precision engineering background within a highly regulated industry (Aerospace or Nuclear).
  • 7+ years’ experience working within a quality function, minimum 4 years management experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a senior management role
  • Experience leading internal & external audit.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  • In depth knowledge of ERP systems
  • Knowledgeable of industry best practice across new product introduction and quality systems.
