Are you a Quality/Technical Manager seeking your next permanent opportunity, on a full-time basis?

Reed Food and FMCG have been briefed to recruit for a highly popular business, for a Technical Manager on a permanent basis. The company operate in a niche sector and are open to looking at Senior Technical/Quality Professionals coming from a variety of Food sectors, including Ambient, Fresh, Bakery etc.

The role will report into the Managing Director and will be a predominantly office/factory-based role, liaising with the internal teams to ensure high quality of food production and testing continues on a day-to-day basis. The role is responsible for ensuring their integrity and maintaining the high standards set by the business.

Technical Manager

£40k+ per year.

Location: Kent

Experience required:

Previous experience in Quality or Technical management.

Industry recognised Food qualifications

Line managing a team overseeing production on site


Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

Maintaining the QMS systems in place

Technical Product Standards, Specifications, Food Safety, Quality & Integrity

Third Party representation


Key Relationships:

Internal:

Managing Director

Senior Technologists

NPD and Technical Team

Technical Managers at other sites



External:

Customers + Suppliers
