We are recruiting on behalf of our client, looking to appoint a QA Engineer on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join an ever-growing business, they plan on adding resource to prepare going through this huge growth period.

At their site located in Cumbria, we are seeking a Site Quality Assurance Engineer. You will report to the RIF Quality Manager and working with the Site QA/QC team.

Some of your duties:

Review, and endorsed as appropriate, Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans; undertaking associated compliance verification activities as appropriate.

Understand and implement the processes necessary for the provision of timely appropriate Quality support

Conduct Quality audits of site activities and sub-contractor operations on site, and off site as directed, in accordance with the Project Audit Schedule.

Ensure the quality standards of the Project are consistently met, raising the authorised project documentation where this is not the case.

Oversight of subcontractors, compilation and review of lifetime records

Concurrent maintenance of package status & progress reporting, raising issues and liaising with the project and client QA/QC team

Here’s what you’ll need:

Experience working in a QA function or QC function.

Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.

ISO 9001 Lead auditor

CQI membership
