Quality Engineer
Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality management? Reed Engineering are seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to join a fantastic company and dynamic team.
As a Quality Systems Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our organization adheres to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation: Lead the development and implementation of our QMS, writing procedures and processes to support its growth.
- Auditing Expertise: Conduct internal audits across all areas of our business and supply chain. You’ll also collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Training and Advocacy: Champion the Quality Management System within the organization, providing training on quality issues and business processes.
- Gap Analysis: Spot gaps in processes and work towards continuous improvement.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to ISO standards, with a focus on energy performance, health and safety, and environmental management.
- Quality Control: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to prevent non-conformities related to product, process, or system.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process enhancements.
- Reporting and Progress Tracking: Write reports, present progress at project meetings, and contribute to achieving project goals within budget.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in implementing ISO standards (50001, 45001, 9001, 14001).
- Auditing background, with a focus on process improvement.
- Familiarity with medical standards is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in managing ISO QM systems.
Salary
Up to £50,000 per annum
