W Talent are now supporting a medium sized manufacturing company located in Nottinghamshire who are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer. Located off junction 27, M1 my client has gone through exceptional growth over the past 2 years which has led to capex investment and additional hires. To apply for this Days based, Quality Engineer you will need to have manufacturing or industrial engineering background experience due to the business requirements.

Position Overview:

I am now looking to speak with Quality Engineers who are on the market looking for a new, exciting challenge in the Nottingham area. As the Quality Engineer you will support the activities of the quality team across the manufacturing business while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure standards and customer requirements are met. Additionally you will carry out key tasks and responsibilities details to support product conformity and continual improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance with safety rules and policies.
  • Ensure quality systems are updated and complied with in all areas of the business.
  • Support implementation of new products in line with customer and internal requirements, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Investigating and troubleshooting product issues.
  • Implementing corrective actions and continual improvements .
  • Interaction with customers (written and face to face).
  • Develop and implement Change Control plans.
  • Prepare, monitor and analyse data using statistical techniques.
  • Support generation and maintenance of internal documentation and procedures.
  • Undertaking internal and supply chain process and product audits.
  • Ensuring good housekeeping practices and safe working practices.

Key Requirements:

To apply for the Quality Engineer position based in Nottingham you will ideally hold an engineering or quality qualification, with:

  • Science, manufacturing or engineering industry experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work with mathematical formulas.
  • Ability to measure, interpret, analyse and present test data.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient at using Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel to support customer/supply chain visits.

What’s on Offer:

£30,000 - £38,000 plus benefits. This is an opportunity to work for a business going through a large expansion plan. You will be working Days based hours, Monday to Friday.
