Quality Controller

Swale – must be a driver with own transport due to location

Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week, rotating shift patterns (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)

£ 23,795.20 + overtime + progression (opportunity to increase earnings)

A great opportunity has risen with our client based in the Swale area who are currently seeking a Quality Controller to join their busy food production team within a factory based environment. Shifts tend to be 06.00-14.00 but there must be some flexibility dependent on demand – you may finish earlier/later at times.

Duties to include:

  • Working in a busy and targeted food production environment working in a variety of temperatures season dependent
  • Checking the quality of the product, recording quality on relevant documentation
  • Printing labels
  • Reading Production Plan and following the quantities specified for the customer accurately
  • Following Health and Safety regulations
  • Any other duties required

The successful candidate will have / be:

  • Solid experience in a relevant role within a factory/production environment, ideally within food production although other similar environments will be considered
  • A food hygiene certificate – this isn’t essential but would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to read Production Plans
  • Competence with IT with the ability to input data into spreadsheets
  • Happy to work in a physically demanding role in varying temperatures
  • Driven with a desire to progress long term – progression available for the right person
