Opus People Solutions is in search of a Quality Control Lab Technician located on the outskirts of Woodbridge.

Due to internal promotion, our client - a worldwide manufacturer, are seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician. In this position, you will be testing product quality within a laboratory setting. Strong report writing skills are essential as a significant aspect of the role involves documenting your findings.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee controlled tests and trials.
  • Conduct systematic investigations using root-cause analysis to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work environment.
  • Perform periodic audits and inspections on product performance and attributes, including those of competitors.

What we're looking for:

  • Prior experience in a similar role, such as in a test lab environment or quality control testing with polymer components, is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in report writing.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry (desirable)
  • Degree qualification in a relevant discipline (desirable)
  • Own transportation is required due to the location.
