Quality Control Inspector

Our client is a provider of sub-contract engineering services, they are rightly proud of the quality and standards they provide and the importance they place on service excellence and the levels of quality they strive to deliver.

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking to appoint a Quality Control Inspector to work within their manufacturing and precision sheet metal and fabrication department.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Checking that finished products comply with specifications

• Ensuring that appropriate corrective action is agreed and taken

• Involvement in discussion on appropriate preventive action - an emphasis on continuous improvement will be part of the role and the successful candidate will have a voice in future decisions about training, investment and systems

The Person

• Minimum of 1 years Quality Control experience within a closely related environment
• Experience in engineering with a preference for candidates from within a manufacturing or fabrication background.
• Ability to work to exacting standards

The company work a standard 4.5 days per week

• 8 am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday,
• 8 am to 12pm Friday (37 hours).
• Overtime available.
