Quality & Compliance Manager

Quality and Compliance Manager - Global Organisation - King’s Lynn Office - up to £40k

Our client, a global company with offices in King’s Lynn, who is a trailblazer in their field of expertise, is looking for a Quality and Compliance Manager to join their team.

The Quality and Compliance Manager will provide support for the company’s internal management systems and product quality requirements, reporting to the King’s Lynn site’s General Manager and the company’s Process Manager.

We are looking for some with working knowledge of QA systems and practices, ideally with experience gained in a manufacturing industry, preferably within the FMCG market.

Key responsibilities as the Quality and Compliance Manager will include:

• Monitoring and assessing quality standards of manufactured materials
• Managing the site complaint investigations to establish root cause of issues and corrective, preventative actions
• Assessing and monitoring the physical site standards in relation to the appropriate industry standards
• Participating in Continual Improvement activities
• Developing and maintaining systems for the approval of suppliers and obtaining the necessary information for regulatory affairs, legal and technical data
• Communicating with clients, suppliers and internal teams on the activities relating to industry compliance and regulatory affairs

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar Quality and Compliance role
• Experience gained in a manufacturing industry is highly beneficial, preferably within the FMCG market
• Skills and working knowledge of QA systems and practices
• Skilled in conducting audits of both manufacturing practices and business systems
• Sound knowledge of H&S, environmental and ethical requirements and business practices
• Highly organised
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
• Ability to take responsibility for Q&A
• A thorough and meticulous nature with an eye for accuracy
• Full, clean driving licence
