Quality Assurance

HRGO are recruiting a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist on behalf of our client, a multi-award winning building manufacturer, to join their growing team in Birkenhead. This temp-to-perm role is an exciting oppportunity for somebody seeking to increase their knowledge within a unique industry. The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a key role in maintaining quality control measures in accordance with ISO9000 standards. The successful candidate will also be responsible for some aspects of Health & Safety for the site; 20% of their time will be spent on this area.

Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA)

Pay: £14p/h (with scope to increase depending on experience)

Job Type: Temp to perm

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality control processes in line with ISO9000 standards
• Identify areas for improvement and feedback to management
• Collaborate with multiple teams to address any quality issues and drive improvement
• Prepare and maintain documentation for audits
• Working with production teams to support in quality assurance
• Acting as a support to management regarding implementation and maintenance of quality procedures
• Addressing any H&S concerns with management
• Upholding H&S regulations in line with company policies

Requirements

• Previous experience in a QA / QC role is essential
• Good working knowledge of ISO9000
• Operational knowledge or experience of H&S procedures would be advantageous
• Experience in QA within an assembly environment
• Ability to confidently use Microsoft packages such as Excel and Word
• Excellent communication skills
• Driven and focussed attitude
