Teamwork Partnership is currently recruiting for one of their clients in Driffield area. This is a permanent position to start immediately.

This role will report to the Technical Department.

Daily responsibilities:

The position will be site-wide and involve a focus on Due Diligence relating to :

  • Food Safety: CCP, labels, weights, etc
  • Quality: Adherence to specifications and customer requirements
  • Legality: HACCP
  • Animal Welfare: Support in compliance.

The successful candidate will be largely factory-based based carrying out various checks and reporting issues to Team Leaders which the Team Leaders need to action.

The objective of the role is to help to foresee issues to avoid incidents, rejections, legal breaches and complaints.

As required:

  • Assistance with the preparation of visits and audits.
  • The role will also deputise for the QA Manager.

Essential:

  • Able to commute.
  • Able to understand, speak and write English.
  • Excellent, fair, and unbiased communication to all levels within the business.
  • Excellent time and attendance.
  • Coaching style.

Desirable:

  • Higher education
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Industry education e.g., HACCP, Auditing etc
  • Auditing experience

Hours of work: Flexibility is important; however, the standard hours will be Monday to Thursday 10.00 - 18.00 and Friday 08.00 - 16.00.

Salary : This will be based on qualifications and experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £30,000.00 per year
