We are currently partnering with an established and privately owned design and manufacturer of products into the Aviation industry sector to identify and recruit a QA / Safety Systems Engineer.

This is an exciting time to be joining this established business, who have developed an extensive track record of developing and supporting a range of innovative products into the Commercial Aviation sector, including major aircraft manufacturers and operators world-wide.

As Quality / Safety Systems Engineer you will provide support across the business, ensuring compliance with various approvals & certifications and that appropriate and robust processes & systems are in place and contributing to the needs of the business.

The successful candidate must be capable of thorough and conscientious work to deadlines and across multiple projects, adapting to changing priorities as business needs require.

Key Experience Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (Quality Control), gained within a commercial aviation or aerospace organisation, ideally within a Design & Manufacturing environment
  • Be conversant and knowledgeable with the legislative safety requirements for Airborne Equipment / Products
  • Educated to a minimum HND Level in a relevant discipline (Aerospace Engineering or similar)
  • The ability to work across a multi-disciplinary team, including Design, Quality and Manufacturing
  • In-depth understanding of aerospace industry standards, regulations and best practices, including AS9100, ISO9001, CAA, FAA, TSO and RTCA DO-160
  • Previous experience of Risk Identification and Assessment
  • Demonstrable ability to develop and implement process improvements and drive best practice
  • Strong problem-solving skills
