Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager - CQC and Ofsted Knowledge Required

Halcyon Care (West Midlands) Ltd is proud to be working with a leading Supported Living provider dedicated to delivering high-quality care and support services to individuals in need. As they continue to grow and expand, they are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team and help us maintain and improve our services, be part of something special.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager with a strong understanding of Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted) regulations to ensure our services meet and exceed the highest standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures, conducting audits and inspections, and providing guidance and training to our staff to maintain and improve our quality standards. This is a full-time, permanent position based in West Midlands with a salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with CQC and Ofsted regulations
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Conduct audits and inspections to assess service quality
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on quality standards
  • Investigate complaints and incidents related to service quality
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for improvement
Requirements:Qualifications:
  • A relevant qualification in social care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of CQC and Ofsted regulations
Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a social care setting

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of CQC and Ofsted requirements
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory standards
  • Proficient in conducting audits and inspections
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in quality management or a related discipline
  • Professional certification in quality assurance
Working Conditions:

This role will primarily be office-based with occasional travel required for on-site inspections and audits. Standard working hours apply, with the possibility of some evening or weekend work depending on operational needs.
