Quality Assurance Assistant

Quality Assurance Assistant required for a busy established food / fmcg company in Telford offering  cometetive salary, good working hours and excllent furture prospects. This role requires a determined indivudual who can direct others to esnure that quality standards are met at all times, if you have a QA background in food or other industries this role may be of interest to you.

Working days Monday to Friday 39.5 hours per week

Your daily duties will include checking records from the factory quality documentation, which covers start-up checks, weight checks, temper readings and more.

If you were already in this Quality Assurance Assistant role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

• Closing and raising non-conformances and reviewing weekly trends
• Auditing quality aspects of production and validations for staff in production
• Be involved in customer and external audits.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience and the following attributes:

• Methodical, with meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate to all levels in the business
• IT and computer skills
• Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment would be useful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Candidates with food or food packaging experience are preferable however people with automotive or general manufacturing experience are being considered
• We are seeking candidtes who live in Telford or a commutable distance 

You may have worked in similar roles before as quality engineer, quality supervisor, quality auditor, quality technician, QA Technician, or QA engineer, QA operative or quality inspection.
