Qualified Teaching Assistant needed in Mansfield

Due to an incredible demand for qualified teaching assistants from primary school clients in Mansfield, Academics are urgently recruiting for Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistants to support local school with their staffing cover on an ad-hoc, short-term or long-term basis.

With an ongoing stream of vacancies for qualified teaching assistants across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 - we have the opportunity for you.

What does working as a qualified teaching assistant involve?

  • Possessing a Level 3/ Grade 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a BA Hons Degree in Education
  • Supporting the class teacher by encouraging the completion of tasks
  • Motivating and supporting pupils with their work
  • Ensuring the learning environment is inclusive
  • Helping pupils to understand their own minds and what subjects they can thrive in
  • Setting up classroom displays and keeping the classroom orderly
  • Leading intervention groups
  • Monitoring the safety of all pupils within your care
  • Following and adhering to safeguarding and behavior policies
