Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Blackburn and Darwen Council's Adult Safeguarding Team. This is a full time role offering a great pay rate of £30 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake Section 42 enquiries, Care Act 2014.
• You will be part of a duty rota - screening safeguarding concerns that come into the Authority; and on non working days you will be allocated your own cases to make enquiries into.
• You will work with a variety of agencies to identify and put in place a protection plan for the individual's that you are working with.
• You will be to coordinate strategy meetings and case conferences.
• You will have a good understanding of Mental Capacity assessments will be required.
• No allocated cases to manage.

Requirements:

• Social Work Degree
• Social Work England registered
• Enhanced DBS
