Hybrid working

We have new vacancies that have arisen in the permanence team for Qualified social workers.

The role will include:

  • Completing Matching paperwork
  • Completing and updating CPR’s for children who are due to be placed for adoption but also children who are in proceedings (working with birth family and other professionals including child SW)
  • Completing sibling assessments
  • Completing Annex A’s
  • Family finding for children with placement orders and profiling children
  • Court attendance for adoption order hearings and opposed adoption order hearings including writing court statements
  • Attend disruption meetings (far and few between)
  • Statutory visiting for children whose placement orders have been granted (6 weekly)
  • Transition plans/ support into adoptive placement
  • Preparing reports and Attending Adoption Review of Arrangements, PEP meetings
  • Direct work with children and their foster carers about their adoption plans.
  • It is important for applicants to have court experience.
