Qualified Social Worker - Children's MASH Team

Location: Gloucestershire

Salary Range: £34,723 - £42,503 per annum + £2000 R&R

Gloucestershire's MASH Team are looking to hire a Qualified Social Worker. The chosen candidate will join a well-run, organised team that is increasing the number of social workers on staff.

Gloucestershire County Council spans six area's: Tewkesbury, Forest of Dean, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, and Cotswolds. you will be appointed the area that best suits you!

Pay and Benefits:

  • Annual retention payment of £2,000
  • Welcome payment of £4,000
  • Hybrid working opportunities (2-3 days in the office)
  • 5 days annual leave rising to 30.5 days after 5 years continuous service

The responsibilities of the Social Worker includes:

  • Case Load Management
  • Completing reviews and assessment
  • Working alongside other agencies
  • Working to ensure the protection of vulnerable children
  • Assessing and reviewing existing service users
  • Working effectively with other professionals

To ideal candidate will have:

  • Social Work England registration: Essential
  • Eligibility to work in the UK: Essential
  • Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DPSW/CQSW/MSc/BA): Essential
