Role Responsibilities:

Specialist Child Care Duties

  • Deliver preventative and rehabilitative services in line with the Children's Act, prioritizing the safety and well-being of children.
  • Assess situations necessitating protection or care provision, while upholding principles of equal opportunities.
  • Collaborate with caregivers and families to make informed decisions about children's welfare.
  • Facilitate secure and permanent home placements, ensuring children's needs and background information are paramount.
  • Respond swiftly to emergencies involving children at risk of immediate harm.
