Early Years Practitioner

Location: Peckham, London

Reed Education are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team. This senior role is ideal for someone looking to advance their career and potentially take on leadership responsibilities within a vibrant and nurturing educational setting.

Day to day of the role:

Plan and deliver child-centred experiences that promote independence and align with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

Work collaboratively with a team of passionate educators to maintain a high standard of teaching.

Model exceptional teaching skills and mentor fellow practitioners.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, ensuring open and effective communication.

Contribute to the creation of a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children aged 2-7 years.

Participate in continuous professional development and take part in school events and activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 / 4 or a degree in Early Years education.

Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

Proven experience as an Early Years Practitioner with a passion for early years teaching.

Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership qualities.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with children, colleagues, and parents.
