Job Title: Long-Term Temporary Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

Location: Honington

Job Type: Temporary (Long-term) - ASAP start until September 2024

Hours: Part time - either mornings 8am until 1pm or afternoons 12:30pm until 6pm

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications, starting rate £12.82


About Us:We are a large nursery offering over 100 spaces for children, with a large outdoor area which we utilise all year round with the children. At our nursery, we prioritise individualised care for each child, fostering their growth and development through play. Some of the key features of the nursery are:

  • Spacious Outdoor Garden: Our expansive outdoor area provides ample room for physical play, bikes, and exciting exploration.
  • Free Flow Play: Each room offers free-flow play in its own dedicated garden space.
  • OOSC House: Our Out of School Club has its own cosy house, creating a home-like environment.
  • Forest School: Starting this year, we'll be introducing Forest School activities.
  • Parent Involvement: We value close collaboration with parents and utilise the Family app to keep them engaged in their child's nursery experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0 to 5 years old.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, ensuring a stimulating and safe environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.


Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification: [Specify the qualification, e.g., CACHE, NVQ Level 3, etc.]
  • Knowledge of EYFS
  • Experience working in a nursery setting.
  • Passion for early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
