Our client, a leading accountancy Practice is seeking a fully qualified Accountant with around 3 years’ experience to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to growth our client is looking to add a fully qualified Accountant to their team where you will be required to provide a high level of support and advice to a broad range of clients in their specialist field, working with an experienced and highly-knowledgeable team around you.

The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation and review of management accounts, including budget vs actuals and forecasts

- Payroll reviews

- Development and training of junior team

- Reviewing work for the junior team

- Assisting clients with their internal processes and procedures

- Accurately prepare and review VAT returns

Key Experience:

- Good experience of bookkeeping and VAT returns for clients

- Experience of Xero / Sage

- High numerical ability

- Solid knowledge of VAT would be advantageous

- Ability to prepare management accounts, including key performance indicators, cash flows, budgets vs actuals etc
