Qualified Accountant job opportunity working for a lovely accountancy firm based near St Albans. Proven practice experience. Client handling/managing experience required. Therefore, must be personable with good communication skills to build working relationships with clients. Responsible, as main point of contact, for own portfolio of clients, managing the full client experience from initial client meetings, client onboarding follow up (onboarding and engagement admin is handled by the admin team). Personal tax preparation. Responsible for statutory and management accounts preparation including analytic review of work completed, preparation of financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations such as intercompany accounts, corporation tax return, VAT, and wages control. Relevant audit experience. Attend and actively participate in management meetings and assist the directors/clients with other ad hoc projects. Competent in the use of Xero/Quickbooks, Iris and Sage 50 Accounts. Hybrid working: Two WFH days per week.
