QHSE Quality and Health & Safety Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Assurance or Health & Safety Engineer to join a leading global manufacturer of gas equipment. This role encompasses responsibility for maintaining the highest standards of quality and health & safety, as well as providing technical support for the business.

• Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO9001 standards.
• Conduct regular health & safety audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
• Provide technical support and guidance on quality and health & safety matters.
• Develop and implement health & safety policies and procedures to minimise risks associated with gas equipment.
• Liaise with various departments to ensure quality and safety standards are integrated throughout the business.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on quality and health & safety best practices.
• Travel infrequently to another UK site to ensure consistency in quality and health & safety standards.

• Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or Health & Safety role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ISO9001 and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant health & safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are desirable.
