QHSE Officer

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for anyone with QHSE Officer experience to work for a well-established manufacturing business in Welshpool. The role offers a full-time permanent contract, annual salary of up to £40,000 per annum (DOE), and a good benefits package.

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has experience with Health & Safety, Compliance & Facilities Maintenance, experience from the Engineering, Construction or Water industry would be highly advantageous

As a QHSE Officer, you will be the main point of contact for Health & Safety, ensuring that the ISO systems are kept up-to-date and auditable. You will also ensure that the risk assessments are conducted and taking part in internal audits. This is a day shift role Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week.

As a QHSE Officer, you will be required to:

• Ensure all Health and Safety standards are in place and that appropriate training, supervision, and safety checks are carried out
• Risk assessment of individual internal operations for development and preparation of SSoW in association with operational personnel and managers
• Provide Company Health & Safety induction training for all personnel
• Log and evaluate accidents - near Miss / DWB / Positive Intervention returns from employees and feed through the system to the agreed process, including notification of relevant authorities
