Quality Health and Safety Manager
Location – Basingstoke M3 Corridor
Working Hours – Monday - Friday

As the Quality Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for the quality of the manufactured modules on-site, the quality, health & safety and environmental process within the factory as well as overseeing the quality of the sub-contractors within the business.

Key Responsibilities as a QHSE Manager:

  • Working in accordance to customer specific requirements ensuring works is carried out in to regulatory standards in a factory environment
  • Compliance with offsite manufacturing regulations
  • Develop/improve quality control, health & safety and environmental processes in the factory
  • Manage documentation of QHSE controls for approval via a properly managed risk-based QMS
  • Drive ongoing efforts to attain further accreditation, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc
  • Assist in compliance with the company’s H&S legislation and introduce the same within the day-to-day working culture within the factory

Essential Skills as a QHSE Manager:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a similar role within industrial manufacturing
  • Experience with accreditation process implementation, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc
  • Management of internal audit systems
  • Good understanding of change control and how it relates to quality output
  • Ability to review plans, specifications, and verification of all components

Personal Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail is essential with a determination to meet deadlines and commercial expectations
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally with all colleagues and externally with key stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing company environment
