The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting an QHSE Engineer to join our clients growing team based in the Gorseinon area. Our client has over 70 years experience in the gas industry.

Hours of work: Full time Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm

Contract: Permanent

The role: The position covers responsibility for the quality, health and safety and technical support for two operational sites in Swansea and in Kingswinford and a team of national service engineers. The ideal candidate should provide support in all aspects related to the QHSE function and technical support.

Candidate requirements:

  • At least 5 year's experience in a role within either Quality Assurance or Health and Safety.
  • Experience in the gas or petrochemical industries.
  • Working knowledge of the PSSR and the Gas Safety Regulations.
  • General Certificate in Health and Safety or will commit to obtaining this qualification within 12 months.
  • Good working knowledge of IS09001 2015 and ISO 45001
  • Understanding of Kaizen principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in speech and writing.
  • Professional, reliable, disciplined and loyal.
  • Experienced using Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
