QC Validation Analyst

SRG is working with a pharmaceutical company in Leeds. We are looking for a QC Validation Analyst to join the team on a contract until December 2025. A fantastic opportunity to strengthen your skills within a pharmaceutical environment working with experienced team members.

Job Title: QC Validation analyst

Vacancy type: Contract until December 2025

Area: Leeds

Salary: £25k - £30k

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various analytical techniques including HPLC, UV and GC.
• Develop, execute, and manage validation protocols and strategies for analytical methods, equipment, and processes in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct quality control tests to ensure product consistency and compliance with established standards and specifications.
• Document and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to sample analysis or instrumentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to investigate and resolve quality-related concerns.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed.
• Ensures that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
• Adhere to all safety and quality regulations and protocols.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree with relevant experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality control or analytical laboratory setting (HPLC, GC).
• Minimum of 1 year validation experience and writing you own protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
