A vacancy has become available for a QC Scientist with an innovative biotech company in Didcot, working at the very cutting edge of DNA sequencing technology. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing lab based experience, in a commercial business, who is looking for their next career step.

The role is mainly involved in the product validation team and is a lab-based position focused on quality control on their range of sequencing products.

Key requirements for QC Scientist:

  • Minimum one year experience working in a commercial business, in a laboratory setting
  • The ability to work in a fast moving environment and not get thrown off if plans change during the day depending on changing priorities
  • A team player who is adaptable, can show initiative and pick up lots of new skills quickly
  • Good general laboratory experience, ideally with GLP and/or GMP certification (not essential)
