Our client, a leading provider of high voltage power solutions, is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Assistant to join their dynamic team. The Role
As a Quality Assurance Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting routine incoming material inspections, dispositioning, and transacting material on the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. You'll also play a key role in performing first article inspections, writing up FAI reports, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely processing and shipment of critical devices. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to support various areas of the Quality management System outlined below.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adherence to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental, and ISO45001 Health and Safety management systems.
  • Conduct routine incoming material inspections and manage material transactions in the ERP system.
  • Perform first article inspections and prepare FAI reports.
  • Process and submit Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and liaise with internal teams and supply chain partners to resolve issues.
  • Respond to Contract Electronic Manufacturer requests and manage orders and shipments in compliance with ESD protocols.
  • Conduct internal audits and manage audit findings and responses.
  • Update Quality department reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as required.
  • Analyze company data to identify potential quality issues and support initiatives for product performance and process improvement.
  • Initiate Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and Engineering Request Notes (ERN) based on analysis.
  • Attend Materials Review Boards and process MRB.
  • Support company Continuous Improvement initiatives and maintain 5S standards.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Ideally, a background in Quality management and familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO14001 management systems and environmental regulations.
  • Familiarity with electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical components is advantageous.
  • Confident, motivated, and well-organized individual with attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with databases.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • "Hands-on" approach to work, with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
