About our client
Our client is a family owned business with over 75 years experience, They are key partners with the world’s leading medical devices, semiconductor, scientific analytics and industrial systems manufacturers.
 

Main Objectives
The role is primarily to carry out routine incoming material inspections, dispositioning, and transacting material on the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. In addition, there will be a requirement to carry out first article inspections and write up FAI reports and working with suppliers to arrange processing and shipment of critical devices.
There will be some involvement with supporting other areas of the Quality management System as outlined in the Key responsibilities below.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and ISO 45001 Health and Safety systems.
  • Perform material inspections, write FAI reports, and manage ERP transactions.
  • Handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and liaise with supply chain for resolutions.
  • Process orders and shipments for critical devices, following ESD protocols.
  • Conduct internal audits, manage findings, and support supplier audits.
  • Update Quality reports and KPIs.
  • Analyze data for quality issues and support improvement initiatives.
  • Initiate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Engineering Request Notes (ERN).
  • Participate in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 internal audits.
  • Attend Materials Review Boards (MRB) and process MRB activities.
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and maintain 5S standards.

Education/Experience
  • Quality background with knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  • Familiarity with electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical components.
  • Confident, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and databases.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • "Hands On" approach and team player.
