Purchasing Assistant 6-9 month FTC
A market leading manufacturing organisation are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join the team on a 6-9-month FTC in Salisbury offering up to £29,000.
Role responsibilities of the Purchasing Assistant include:
- Completion or daily/weekly purchase transactions and reporting status
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with suppliers
- Use MRP systems to evaluate planned and forecast purchase requirements
- Report on P2P activity, supplier performance and trends
Person Specification of the Purchasing Assistant:
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment for minimum 1 year
- Confident using ERP/MRP Systems ideally MS D365
- Procurement experience /involvement with supporting the purchasing or raw materials
- Highly organised and looking to progress in career
This role will require SC level Security clearance so the candidate will have to have lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years.
Salary
Up to £29k - 6-9 Month FTC
This role offers up to 2 days a week working from home
This role will be well suited to you if you have held a role within procurement or purchasing as a junior buyer, buyer, procurement specialist, procurement officer, procurement consultant, purchasing assistant or purchasing graduate
