Sound Leisure have been 'manufacturing memories’ in the United Kingdom since 1978.

From its foundation to the present day, Sound Leisure has remained a brave and forward-thinking organisation. From becoming the first British company to design, develop and build a commercially viable and widely adopted jukebox platform in the 1970’s, Sound Leisure went on to pioneer the early development of digitised music platforms in the 1980’s and were responsible for the reintroduction of vinyl jukeboxes in 2016.

We are now looking for an experienced Purchasing Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate the purchase of goods and services, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Generate and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Track and manage order status, communicating updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and payment conditions with suppliers
  • Monitor inventory turnover and coordinate with suppliers to prevent shortages or overstock situations
  • Ensure documentation complies with company policies and relevant regulations
  • Work closely with internal departments, such as operations, finance, and production, to understand procurement needs
  • Address and resolve quality issues with suppliers promptly

Experience required -

  • Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • IT Literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
