JHE & Partners are working with an exciting business in Harrogate as they look to recruit a Purchase Ledger Controller to join their finance function initially on a 14 month fixed term contract basis. This role will have responsibility for processing quite a high volume of invoices and payments on a monthly basis, whilst maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers.

Offering a competitive salary and benefits including hybrid working, the successful candidate will have some experience in a similar role, combined with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

Key duties will include:

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Handling and resolving supplier queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Producing weekly payment schedule
  • Assist with daily banking
  • Supporting the wider finance team during busy periods

Applicants will ideally have good Excel skills, recent purchase ledger experience, the ability to work in a fast paced environment and a desire to meet deadlines. A friendly "can do" approach is essential to join this team, where everyone is happy to help eachother to meet team goals.
