ROLE: Purchase Ledger Clerk

SALARY: Up to £25,000 DOE

LOCATION: Fleckney, Leicester (Hybrid - 1 day per week)

THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a global manufacturer who are looking to expand their finance team and recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk.

THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will either have a strong background in Purchase Ledger or will have had some exposure within an Accounts team and be willing to learn.

The successful individual will have strong Excel skills and a good attention to detail.

As you will be required to manage your own workload and ledger of companies, a self-motivated attitude and the ability to work well to your own initiative is a must.

DAILY DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Processing both high-value and high-volume invoices (up to 500 per month).
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Maintaining a database of future payments and direct debits.
  • Liaising with international clients and building strong relationships.
  • Monitoring the Accounts Payable email inbox.
  • Liaising with various internal departments to close, resolve and raise POs.
