The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all purchasing transactions and facilitating smooth financial operations. Description

  • Handling supplier invoices, ensuring they are correctly matched to orders and inputted onto the system.
  • Processing payment runs and managing supplier queries.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
  • Supporting the wider Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc tasks.
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
  • Managing petty cash and preparing expense reports.
  • Ensuring adherence to company financial policies and regulations.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

  • A strong background in finance or accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
