Are you a passionate solicitor with a focus on child care law? Join a dynamic team as a Public Law Care Solicitor. Whether you're newly qualified or you have up to three years of experience, this role provides an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
The ideal candidate
- Public Law Child Care Solicitor – 0-3 years experience
- Children Panel Accredited Solicitor – desirable, but not essential
- Be able to demonstrate high quality client care skills
- The ability to be well organised and conscientious of Court deadlines is essential
- Knowledge of Legal Aid and LAA applications desirable
- Manage a caseload of, primarily parents and other family members in public children cases
- Be able to undertake own advocacy where possible
- Commercially astute and technically strong
- Practical skills in communication, organisation and client relations
- Ability to work collaboratively within a strong and supportive team
- Relationship management
- An understanding and willingness to embrace the firm's values
- £55,000-70,000
- Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5.30pm, Friday, 9am to 5pm
- Generous holiday allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays.
