Job Overview:
As a Psychology Graduate you will play a vital role in supporting the psychological and emotional well-being of students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with school staff, students, and parents to assess, support, and enhance the mental health and social development of students. This position offers valuable experience and the opportunity to contribute to the overall educational success of students.
Main Responsibilities of a Psychology Graduate:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with emotional, behavioral, or social issues, and collaborate with teachers and parents to address their unique needs.
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify learning disabilities, emotional disorders, and other behavioral concerns. Interpret assessment results and develop intervention plans accordingly.
- Implement behavior management strategies and interventions to support students with challenging behaviors, working closely with teachers to create behavior plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, attending meetings and providing insights on student progress.
Requirements needed as a Psychology Graduate:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassion and empathy when working with students and their families.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.

- You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
