Psychology Graduate April - Full time

We are specifically working with a Specialist alternative Provision school in Cheshire East, who are looking to secure the services of a lively, passionate Psychology graduate to work there from after the Easter break for the rest of the academic year. If you have patience, a great sense of humour, and are dedicated on improving the lives of young people, these opportunities are definitely for you. You will only be working with small numbers of students at any one time, so you can really concentrate on the delivery of high-quality support to young people who need that little extra support. The young people you will work with are demanding but this is an extremely rewarding position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Cheshire East
  • Position - Psychology Graduate
  • Type of work - Teaching Support
  • Start date - April 2024
  • Contract type - Temporary
  • Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay - £85 per day
  • Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree educated with a good classification, in Psychology
  • Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
  • Up to date Safeguarding & FGM training issued in the last year (essential)
  • Up to date prevent awareness issued in the last 3 years (essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child & adult barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide a minimum of two professional references
