Here at EdEx, we are working alongside a fantastic Primary School based within Hackney who are looking to take on multiple Psychology Graduate - Autism Support assistants with an immediate start.

Within this role, you will be working closely alongside the knowledgeable staff and teachers to ensure that pupils with additional needs are gaining the best learning experience possible. You will be working both 1:1 and in focused groups to help tailor the lesson so it is more palatable for them to take in.

This role is perfect for those who are looking to gain valuable experience before pursuing a career in Educational Psychology, Therapy, Clinical Psychology and more!

Psychology Graduate - Autism Support role/school insight;

  • Psychology Graduate - Autism Support
  • Working alongside pupils in EYFS, KS1 & KS2
  • Involves working closely with Classroom Teachers, parents and SENCO to monitor pupil behaviour and create action plans to tailor the pupil's learning process to their needs
  • Working alongside pupils with varying levels of SEND needs
  • Working 1:1 and in groups to deliver tailored learning programs
  • £105 - £110 per day - Term time only
  • ASAP Start
  • Long-term contract - Full Time - Term time only
  • Located within the borough of Hackney
  • Fantastic CPD opportunities

  • Located within Hackney with brilliant transport links

What the school is looking for from a Psychology Graduate - Autism Support;

  • Strong academic background (Degree, A Levels, GCSEs etc)
  • Have previous experience working with SEND or SEMH needs
  • Previous experience working within SEN needs is desired
  • Have a passion and drive for working within education and supporting children
