Are you an experienced Psychiatrist? Are you looking for work on a LOCUM Basis within a Ward Environment?

Service Care Solutions are working with North-East London Foundation Trust to recruit an experienced Psychiatrist to support a Female Inpatient Ward on a LOCUM basis. The successful candidate will work with Central North-West London for the duration of 3 months however this is likely to be a Long-Term Placement.

Job Purpose: Consultant Psychiatrist

Pay: £60.00 PAYE p/h + £250 SCS Welcome Bonus
Location: Milton Keynes Hospital Campus, Eaglestone, MK6 5NG
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Contract: 40 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• The multidisciplinary team provides tailored individualised interventions, including pharmacological, family and individual psychological interventions, informed by evidence-based practice, for females with Complex Emotional Needs in the least restrictive manner, as close to home as possible.
• We work in a collaborative way with patients and their families to support them on the path to recovery. We provide a multidisciplinary approach to assessment and treatment we will work closely with the referral network to ensure continuity of care.
• The main duties of the role include; to provide psychiatric assessments, including risk assessment for patients referred to, and under the care of, the service. This includes undertaking urgent gate keeping assessments.
• To Provide treatment for patients, including providing medication management.
• To work in close collaboration with the inpatient and bed management teams.
• To take a leadership role within the team and providing appropriate support, supervision and psychiatric advice to other team members.

Requirements

• Full GMC Registration
• Experience with EUPD and Complex Emotional Needs
• Section 12 Approved
• Approved Clinician Status
