PRUDENTIAL RISK MANAGER

As they continue to expand the team, they are seeking a skilled Prudential Risk Manager to join a dynamic team.

THE ROLE

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP) frameworks in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of capital adequacy and liquidity risk profiles, identifying potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, risk committees, and business units, to provide guidance and recommendations on prudential risk management strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory developments, ensuring that the bank's prudential risk frameworks remain up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.
  • Prepare and present reports on capital and liquidity risk metrics, findings, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including regulatory authorities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive experience in prudential risk management, with a focus on Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP) within the banking sectoR.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify key risk factors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience in leading projects and initiatives related to prudential risk management.
