I am looking to recruit a team of Prototype Build Technicians.
Working as part of the prototyping/production team, I am looking for a team of diligent and versatile Technicians who are passionate about making an impact through their skills.

Initially a 6-month contract, with the potential to be taken on permanently if you are a good fit for the team!

No two days will be the same, as the team rotates roles and everyone is up-skilled in all areas of work.

In order to succeed you will need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple disciples is paramount. Attitude is everything with this client, we are always pushing boundaries and in order to achieve the unimaginable you must have a can-do approach and an open mind to endless possibilities.

What you'll do:
* Build, prepare and maintain vehicles keeping them to the highest possible standards
* Have the ability to diagnose any potential issue across the range of vehicles
* Have knowledge of whole vehicle instrumentation on test/development vehicles
* Understand whole vehicle diagnostics using DSA or equivalent OE equipment
* Maintain accurate vehicle records
* Have knowledge of health and safety and cleanliness within the establishment ideally 5S
* Liaise with engineers & have hands-on approach
* Understanding of vehicle build and associated procedures / Birth Certs / Man Eng etc
* Keep abreast of modern processes and equipment (working methodologies)
* Clearly interpret and action engineer's requirements

Who you are:
* It is expected that the successful candidate will come from a mechanical/vehicle testing background having completed a technical apprenticeship (NVQ3) or equivalent
* Level 3 /4 EV - Hybrid qualification (IMI)
* Comprehensive knowledge of EVs and hybrid vehicles
* Capable of interfacing with modern-day vehicle electrical systems
* Ideally have motorsport/automotive experience
* Computer literate
* Must have extensive hands-on experience of the whole vehicle
* A team player
* Attention to detail and good communication skills
* Have a good organizational approach and understand all activities within the working environment
* Must be able to work on their own initiative
* Understanding of appropriate Health and Safety requirements
