Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote learning.

Support children with their personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Supervise indoor and outdoor play, encouraging social interaction, creativity, and exploration.

Observe and record children's progress, behaviour, and achievements, and provide feedback to colleagues and parents as required.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting is desirable.

A passion for childcare and a nurturing approach to supporting children's development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Basic understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt to the needs of the children and the nursery environment.

A relevant childcare qualification (preferred)

Eligibility:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
