Are you a chartered surveyor looking for a new challenge?

Our in-house Strategic Property team is instrumental in providing property advice and support to all departments across South Oxfordshire District Council and Vale of White Horse District Council. As we are expanding our team, we are looking to recruit experienced Chartered Surveyors to join our friendly team, to help support the future growth and direction of this busy service.

You will be a highly skilled and motivated property professional able to deal with both commercial, public sector bodies and community/voluntary organisations in relation to disposals and general property management.

You will need experience of handling complex commercial property work, up to date knowledge of property law and be a member of the of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Experience of working in a local authority and supervising staff would be an advantage.

In return you will receive a generous holiday allowance of 25 days, plus time off between Christmas and New Year, professional membership fees paid, career average pension and support for your health and wellbeing.

In addition, you will benefit from truly flexible working, known as annualised hours - you will have a yearly total of hours to work, rather than a weekly figure, which will allow greater flexibility to manage your workload and balance work and home responsibilities - surplus hours can be booked as time off.

Closing date: 21 April
Interviews: to take place on 25 April and 26 April

We look forward to hearing from you!

You may also have experience in the following: restrictive covenants, easements, encroachments/boundary disputes, landlord and tenant, commercial service charges, wayleaves, licences, management agreements, residential service charges.
